Tafsir sourate l'Etoile, an najm

An-Najm
Sourate r: 53, Verset: 1-4

"By the Star when it goes does. Your Companion is neither astray nor misled. Nor does He say out of his desire. It is not but an a revelation that is revealed to Him" [53:1-4]

Ali Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al-Abbas, from Ali Bin Hammad, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Jabir, from Abi Jafar (as):

(quoting only the required portion of the narration)

And regarding the Statement of the Mighty and Majestic; "I swear by the star when it goes down." [53:1]
He (as) said; "(It means) I Swear by the passing away of Muhammad (saww) when He passes away. "Your companion does not err"[53:2], in giving out the virtues of the AhlulBait (as). "Nor does he go astray" [53:2]. "Nor does he speak out of desire."[53-3] He (swt) is Saying that He [the Prophet (saww)] does not speak of the virtues of the AhlulBait (as) out of His own desires, and it is the Statement of Allah Mighty and Majestic, "It is naught but revelation that is revealed."[53:4].
